Family Law
Make sure that you protect your rights and the rights of your children.

Kansas is a “no fault” divorce state, which means that you will not have to prove to the court why you are entitled to a divorce. But there are other issues that must be decided, either by the couple themselves or by a judge with the assistance of legal counsel.

Divorce, child custody, and family law are areas where judges have broad discretion, so it is important to be proactive in advocating your legal rights. In a divorce, custody matter, or family law matter each parent has rights, but whether they get recognized in the end is a whole different story. My knowledge, experience and training in divorce, custody, and family law matters are supported by my aggressive and proactive style.

I also believe in reasonableness and cooperation, however, and adjust my representation to suit the needs of the particular client. I assist clients in all aspects of the law relating to the needs of today’s families, including, but not limited to:

  • Divorce

  • Legal Separation

  • Paternity

  • Domestic Partnerships

  • Child Custody/Visitation (including international and interstate disputes)

  • Child and Spousal Support
